About Us

Where We Started

Ever since our foundation as a commercial electrical contractor in 2002, Access Electric’s team has been growing stronger. We owe our success to the hard work, diligence, and attention to detail that has won us the trust of our community and helped us build hundreds of strong relationships with our happy customers.

In the first year after our foundation, Access Electric already had a crew of over 10 seasoned electricians. The next year we doubled to 20 electricians. Fifteen years later, Access Electric has continued to grow and expand our customer base and now has a crew of over 80 electricians with the experience and technical expertise to tackle complex industrial and commercial electrical  contractor projects. We hand-select each of our team members to ensure that they share our values and deliver work in accordance with our company’s principles.

In 2016 we also created our sister company, Access Industrial Automation, Inc., which provides specialized programming, engineering design, and installation services. As a UL508a certified panel building shop, we can also produce Industrial Control panels customized to support your needs.

Access Electric Today

With multiple estimators, project managers, industrial programming engineers, field superintendents, and capable foremen leading our team of journeyman and apprentice electricians, we always aim to exceed industry standards and deliver quality commercial electrical contractor work on time and within budget.

Our goal is to eliminate any unnecessary delays and minimize electrical hazards and safety risks in order to complete every project as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Access Electric is also a proud member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Walter Resendes is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the authors of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and the Handbook of Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70e).

Additionally, we have partnered with EEAP (now known as GotSafety.com) and Vivid Learning Systems to continually provide our staff with safety training,  field inspections, and reporting. We use these trainings in our in-house learning management systems. This ensures we are always prepared and up-to-date with the latest safety requirements as well as with new developments in technology and work methods, and that every of member of our staff is well-equipped to deliver a safe, high-quality final product.

Customer Reviews

Walter and Pon, the owners of Access Electric Company, have been working at our plant for over five years. During this time, Del Monte has completed a retrofit of a tomato facility to one of the largest fruit facilities in the West. Access Electric played an important roll in the success of this transition. I have been impressed with Access Electric's work ethic and attention to detail. They have expertly installed programmable logic control systems, communications systems, and motor control systems. They have provided us with concise, competitive bids and are flexible when the need arises. In an industrial setting, it is refreshing to have a knowledgeable contractor who really understands our business and our needs.    Access Electric stands by their work and they are eager to please. They have provided professional support to our plant in every way necessary.
